Shared Panels are the different screens (panels) that hold all of the products and functional buttons, a shared panel can be used across multiple themes and theme panel designs which then enables quicker data setup and configuration.
As part of shared panel configuration, variations can be set up. This means a single overall panel can have multiple variants, each with a different set of buttons. This is particularly useful for menu planning, seasonal changes, or when slight differences are needed across the estate for example, in pay panels. Variations are assigned within the site variations section and can be future dated to setup changes in advance.
